It's game day at the Memorial Cup.
The hometown Halifax Mooseheads and the WHL champion Prince Albert Raiders will be the first teams to meet in this year's tournament. That game gets underway at 8 p.m. at Scotiabank Centre.
The beginning of the tournament will be preceeded by a show from local star musician Matt Mays. He'll be on Argyle St. for a show at 6 p.m.
The Street Fest is a 19+ event.
And the Kubota Fan Zone will be open, featuring "Glice" - an artificial rink using a surface that's said to have 98 per cent glide factor compared to real ice.
