Two Halifax Mooseheads are likely to hear their names called at the 2020 NHL Draft in late June.

That's according to the  NHL Central Scouting midterm rankings.

Defenceman Justin Barron placed 15th on the list of North American skaters, which pegs him as a first round pick.

The 18-year-old Halifax native is currently out of the lineup after being diagnosed with a blood clot and it's not known when he'll return.

Senna Peeters placed 62nd, meaning the 17-year-old rookie from Belgium is projected to go late in the second round or early in the third.

Rimouski's Alexis Lafreniere is the top-ranked North American skater.

The NHL Draft will take place in Montreal on June 26-27.
