GATINEAU, QC. -  The Gatineau Olympiques extend their win streak to four straight with an 8-3 victory over the Halifax Mooseheads.

The Olympiques got off to a great start as Zachary Dean netted a pair and Mathieu Bizier once two make it 3-0 after 20 minutes.]

Kevin Gursoy put Halifax on the board in the second period.

But Kieran Craig and Manix Landry answered back to extend Gatineau's lead to 5-1.

Marcel Barinka scored early in the third period but Jeremy Rainville and Pier-Olivier Roy quickly responded to make it 7-2.

Dean completed the hat-trick late in the third period.

Brendan Tomilson put one more on the board for Halifax but it wasn't enough as Gatineau walked away with an 8-3 win.

The Mooseheads and the Olympiques will be back in action at the Scotiabank Centre on Thursday.
