The Rimouski Oceanic topped the Halifax Mooseheads 6-2 Friday night.

Dmitry Zavgorodniy put Rimouski on the board near the midway point of the opening frame.

Justin Bergeron and Isaac Belliveau added to Rimouski's lead in the second period.

Top NHL prospect Alexis Lafreniere found the back of Halifax's net in the final frame.

Alexandre David prevented a shutout by netting one for the Herd.

Lafreniere scored his second of the evening shortly after with Adam Raska following up to make it 6-1.

Kevin Gursoy got one more on the board for Halifax but it wasn't enough as Rimouski left with a 6-2 win.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Quebec City on Saturday to take on the Remparts.
