The Halifax Mooseheads started off their Quebec road trip with a 4-1 win over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada on Wednesday.
The Mooseheads got to a strong start as Samuel Dube and Raphael Lavoie put the Herd up 2-0 early in the opening frame.
Samuel Bolduc responded for the Armada to cut the Herd's lead in half heading into the second.
After a scoreless second period, Lavoie scored again for Halifax to make it 3-1.
Benoit Olivier-Groulx sealed the deal late in the final period to make it a 4-1 final in the Herd's favour.
The Mooseheads will make their way to Val-d'Or to take on the Foreurs on Friday.
