BATHURST, N.B. - The Halifax Mooseheads snapped a five game slump after topping the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 4-1 on Friday night.

The Mooseheads dominated the opening frame as Raphael Lavoie, Justin Barron and Benoit Olivier-Groulx all found the back of the Titan's net to make it 3-0 after 20 minutes.

After a scoreless second period, Senna Peeters extended Halifax's lead in the third period to make it 4-0.

Olivier Coulombe finally put the Titan on the board but it wasn't enough as the Herd managed to snap their losing streak with a 4-1 win.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Saturday when they host the Saint John Sea Dogs.
