The Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Cape Breton Eagles in 3-2 on Friday night.
After a scoreless first period, Dawson Stairs put Cape Breton on the board late in the second period.
Justin Barron tied things up for the Herd while Elliot Desnoyers gave Halifax their first lead of the night.
Felix Pare answered back for the Eagles to tie things up at 2-2.
But it would be the Mooseheads who'd leave victorious as Markus Vidicek potted the game winner to make it a 3-2 final.
Due to recent restrictions introduced by the Nova Scotia Government, the Mooseheads' season is paused indefinitely.
