HALIFAX, N.S. - A solid night in net and scoring through the lineup gave Halifax a 3-0 win at home Saturday night against Blainville-Boisbriand.
There was no scoring in the first, although Halifax generated the most chances, testing the Armada goaltender, Emile Samson with 12 shots.
In the second period, Gavin Hart scored his first goal of the season and second of his young QMJHL career.
Team leaders Max Trépanier and Raphaël Lavoie scored their 17th goals of the year, sending the Moose ahead 3-0.
Halifax cruised to the win, in a game where star defencemen, Jared McIsaac made his return to the lineup for the first time this season.
McIsaac got an assist on the Trépanier goal in the second period.
Alex Gravel stopped all shots his way, registering the shutout in front of the Halifax crowd.
The Mooseheads are back in action Sunday afternoon when they travel to Charlottetown to play the Islanders.
