DRUMMONDVILLE, QC. - The Halifax Mooseheads picked up an impressive victory Wednesday night, topping the Drummondville Voltigeurs 5-1.

The Mooseheads got off to a good start as Walter Flower put the Herd up 1-0 late in the opening period.

Raphael Lavoie scored short handed early in the second to make it 2-0 heading into the third.

Benoit Olivier-Groulx found the back of Drummondville's net early in the final period with Max Trepanier adding to the Herd's lead a short time later.

Jacob Dion finally put Drummondville on the board but Senna Peeters scored on a power play to seal the deal for the Herd.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Chicoutimi on Friday to take on the Sags.
