The Charlottetown Islanders picked up a 3-2 shootout win over the Halifax Mooseheads on Sunday night.
Cedric Desruisseaux scored twice in the opening period while Zachary L'Heureux added a tally for the Mooseheads.
L'Heureux tied it up with his second of the evening in the second period.
Neither managed to ice it in the third period, which forced overtime.
The scoreless draught continued, resulting in a shootout where Lukas Cormier won it for the Islanders.
The Mooseheads are back in Charlottetown on Wednesday.
