Four Mooseheads head to 2019 summer World Junior camp

Defenceman Jared McIsaac also got an invite but won't be participating as he recovers from a shoulder injury

The Halifax Mooseheads will be well represented at the World Junior Summer Showcase in Plymouth, Michigan. 

Forwards Raphael Lavoie and Benoit-Olivier Groulx, defenceman Justin Barron and goalie Alex Gravel will be among the best Canadian hockey players under the age of 20 at the tournament running from July 27 to August 3.

The event will feature split-squad action in games against the U.S., Finland and Sweden.

The four will be looking to impress the Team Canada brass as they start to assemble the roster of players for the World Junior tournament kicking off on Boxing Day in the Czech Republic.
