Two cyclists sent to hospital after being hit by vehicle

Police say they were hit by a left-turning vehicle

Two cyclists have been taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday.

Halifax Regional Police say they were going through the intersection at the Bedford Highway and Hammonds Plains Road at around 8 p.m. when they were hit by a left-turning vehicle.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
