Three charged after police seize cocaine and firearms in HRM searches

One man was arrested in Beaver Bank and two were taken into custody in Wellington

Three people are facing charges after police searches at six locations in Halifax Regional Municipality.

RCMP say the searches of properties in Beaver Bank, Wellington, Middle Sackville and Dartmouth last Thursday turned up cocaine, cash, firearms, ammunition, body armour and drug paraphernalia.

A 41-year-old man was arrested at a traffic stop in Beaver Bank on Trinity Ln. and Ernest Ave. 

He's been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of property obtained by crime, laundering proceeds of crime and possession of body armour.

Two 50-year-old men were arrested at a home in Wellington and have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime.'

All three are expected in Dartmouth Provincial Court on November 20.
