Suspect charged after man stabbed in the arm

A Halifax man is in police custody after a weekend stabbing in Cow Bay.

Halifax District RCMP were called to Cow Bay Road at around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 30.

Arriving officers found a 31-year-old Dartmouth man outside of a residence with a stab wound to his arm.

He was taken to hospital in an ambulance for treatment of the non-life threatening injury.

Mounties soon arrested a suspect in a nearby wooded area.

Eric Roger Latham has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The 35-year-old is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today.
