RCMP warn residents of suspicious individuals soliciting in Eastern Passage

The two have been reported knocking on doors, asking for donations for a local charity.

Halifax District RCMP say they are investigating reports of two suspicious individuals travelling around the Eastern Passage area, claiming to work for a local charity.

RCMP say the suspicious persons are described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-7 with dark hair and a female with brown hair and brown eyes.

The RCMP remind residents to ask for credentials whenever a door-to-door sales personnel approaches looking for a donation.

Anyone with information on these incidents are encouraged to call the RCMP, or Crime Stoppers.
