RCMP search for suspect after woman assaulted in Fletchers Lake

RCMP are searching for a suspect after a woman was assaulted in Fletchers Lake last week.

Mounties say it happened when she was approached by a man while she was walking along Holland Rd. at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21.

She yelled and was able to get away from him. He ran off into the woods and police haven't been able to track him down.

The suspect is described as white, between 17 and 22 years old with a slim build and light brown hair.

He was wearing a light pink hoodie, black jogging pants with a white stripe and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
