RCMP are investigating after two homes under construction were broken into in Eastern Passage.

Mounties say both houses were on Cow Bay Rd. and the suspects got in after forcing the locked doors open.

Plumbing fittings were stolen from one, while a chop saw and a Napoleon propane fireplace went missing from the second. Police say the fireplace was removed from the wall, which caused some damage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
