UPDATE:  Halifax Regional Police have now identified a suspect.

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a man was assaulted in the south end last month.

The victim was talking to a friend outside a residence on Clyde Street at around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.

The suspect asked the man for a cigarette, and the victim said he didn't have one. Police say the suspect hit the man in the head and walked off.

The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, around 5'10" with short blonde hair.

Anyone with information can call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
