Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a woman's wallet was stolen from a Dartmouth store last week.

The woman accidentally left her wallet in a shopping cart at a Wright Avenue store on Monday, April 20.

When she realized what she had done, she called the store, but employees weren't able to find it. They checked their video surveillance and saw a man walking out of the business with the wallet.

He's described as white, around 5'9" with a medium build and medium-length light-coloured hair. He was wearing a plaid jacket, jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 902-490-5016 or call Crime Stoppers.
