Police investigating two break and enters in Dartmouth

Police are in the early stages of investigating a pair of break and enters at businesses in Dartmouth.

Police say the Coast Gas Station on Pleasant Street in Dartmouth was broken into at approximately 6:30 Saturday morning.

Staff arrived at the business to find the front window had been broken and the cash register, along with a quantity of cash, was taken.

Police then responded to a break and enter at the One Stop Shop on Windmill Road in Dartmouth at approximately 10:45 a.m. Saturday after staff discovered a window had been broken and the cash register, along with cash, were taken.

Police say the investigations are in the early stages and are attempting to determine if the two incidents are related.
