UPDATE: Woman charged with attempted murder in Halifax stabbing

The Halifax Regional Police are investigating a stabbing.

At 7:20 p.m., police responded after the report of a man who had been stabbed in the 5500-block of Cunard St.

A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital as a result of the incident. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

A woman was arrested at the scene without incident.

Police continue to investigate and have not announced any charges at this time.
