Halifax Regional Police are investigating two suspicious incidents last week that involved a similar-looking vehicle.

The first happened at around 1 p.m. Wednesday, when a white Hyundai Elantra with tinted windows was spotted on Barry Allen Drive.

Witnesses told police the driver appeared to be looking at children playing in the area.

When a woman approached the car, it quickly drove off.

Then at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, a newer model white four-door car with tinted windows appeared to be following a 12-year-old riding a bike near Everette and Franklyn streets.

Police say the vehicle may also have been a Hyundai Elantra and it was being driven by a man described as white and heavyset.

It was last seen turning onto Pleasant Street.

HRP would like to speak with the driver or anyone with information about these incidents.

Investigators can be reached by calling 902-490-5020 and anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
