Police investigate shots fired in Lower Sackville

Police are investigating a report of shots fired that occurred last evening in Lower Sackville.

At around 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 14, Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of shots fired at a vehicle in the 300 block of Sackville Drive.

Both vehicles of the victim and suspect fled the scene prior to when police arrived. The victim was identified and no one was injured.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a blue sedan.

"It is believed that the victim and the suspect are known to each other," says a news release. "The investigation is ongoing and being led by RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020. Any person or businesses with surveillance video in the area is asked to review their footage and follow up with police at 902-490-5020.
