Halifax Regional Police were called to Albert Walker Drive just before 4 p.m. Tuesday after a cement truck flipped over and slid into another vehicle.

The 51-year-old man driving the truck wasn't hurt, while the 27-year-old woman driving the other vehicle has minor injuries.

As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, traffic was still being diverted away from Albert Walker Dr.

Police don't know how long the closure will last but say the investigation is in its early stages and it could be an "extended period of time" before the road reopens.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
