Mounties investigating collision where a horse entered a Subway

Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating a strange incident where a horse ran through a business window in Lunenburg.

According to a release, Mounties say at 12:50 p.m. Sunday afternoon, police were called to Montague Drive after reports of a horse and buggy was involved in several collisions.

The horse became spooked, causing it to hit a parked car before running into a glass window at a Subway sandwich shop.

None of three people in the buggy were injured, but the horse required several stitches.
