Man arrested in connection to robbery at Park Lane Mall

Police say a man entered the Envy store, stole a jacket and while fleeing the business he pushed a female employee and uttered threats

Regional police have arrested a man in connection to a robbery at Park Lane Mall late Sunday afternoon.

Police say a man entered the Envy store, stole a jacket and while fleeing the business he pushed a female employee and uttered threats.  

The employee was not injured.

Officers later located the suspect walking along Grafton Street and he was arrested without incident.

A 41-year-old man has been charged with robbery, two counts of breaching a probation and one count of  breaching a recognizance.

He has been remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility.
