Firearms and ammunition stolen during home break-in

Police believe the break-in happened either Friday or Saturday

Halifax Regional Police say firearms were stolen during a break-in at a home on Leiblin Drive.

The homeowners contacted police late Saturday night after returning home to find two pistols, a shotgun, an airsoft pistol, ammunition and personal cheques had all been stolen.

Police believe the break-in happened either Friday or Saturday. They say all the firearms had been legally owned and stored.

Anyone with video footage from the area or information about the incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
