Driver ticketed after 13-year-old pedestrian hit

A young teen has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Lower Sackville.

RCMP say the 13-year-old was crossing Beaver Bank Road at Glendale Drive just after 5 p.m. Tuesday when the youth was hit by a left-turning driver.

A 34-year-old Lower Sackville man has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
