A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash between two dump trucks in Lantz.

Halifax District RCMP were called to Dutch Settlement Rd. Monday just after 9:30 a.m.

After a preliminary investigation, police believe one of the trucks had been stopped, but then pulled out in front of the second truck, which was going through the intersection.

Mounties say the driver that had been stopped wasn't hurt, but the other driver was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating.
