A 19-year-old male driver has been fined $2,422.50 after being charged with stunting.

An RCMP officer says they caught the southbound vehicle going 170 km/h in a 100 zone on Highway 102 in Fall River Saturday morning.

The vehicle was seized and impounded.

RCMP say speed is one of the major causes of serious injuries and fatalities on our roads.
