RCMP have arrested a 35-year-old man following an incident in Eastern Passage they say was road rage.

At around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, a truck was driving down Cow Bay Rd.

When it slowed down for some people near the roadway Mounties say the driver of a car behind it started honking and tailgating.

Police say the car driver then passed the truck, almost causing a collision.

When the truck pulled over, the car driver did the same and started yelling.

Both drivers got back in their vehicles and continued down Cow Bay Rd.

Mounties say both drivers then pulled into a parking lot and the car driver once again started yelling before returning to his car and driving off.

Officers arrested the car driver at a Cow Bay home.

He'll appear in court at a later date to face charges of dangerous operation of a conveyance and breach of probation.
