Halifax Regional Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a bank branch in downtown Dartmouth.

Police say a man went into the Scotiabank on Portland Street, jumped over the counter and took cash from the teller.

No one was injured and witnesses didn't see any weapons.

The suspect is described as white and in his 50s. He was wearing sunglasses, a black hat, green camouflage jacket, jeans and was carrying a black duffle bag.

Anyone with information, or with video footage from the area is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020, or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
