Just after 9 p.m. last night, Halifax District RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision in West Dover.
The small community is just a few minutes west of Peggy's Cove, on Hwy. 333.
Police say driver of a small hatchback containing six people lost control on a series of sharp turns, crossed the centre line, and struck a utility pole.
In the release, RCMP say the driver and one passenger were not injured, but four others were transported to hospital via EHS for serious to moderate injuries.
RCMP contacted Nova Scotia power to inspect damage to the utility pole, and police remained on scene for several hours.
A portion of Hwy. 333 was closed last night, and was reopened to traffic just before midnight.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
