It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to the most amazing mother, sister, daughter, friend anyone could have asked for. Kerri Ann Pearl McCarthy passed away in her home on July 13, 2020 after a year long battle with cancer.

Born on June 21, 1971 in Halifax, Nova Scotia to William (Wally) McCarthy and Joanne (Ramey) McCarthy. Kerri loved to enjoy the simple things in life. You could always find her spending her time laughing with her friends and family, she was always the life of the party. Her favorite place in the world was the beach and she enjoyed going down south with her friends each year. Kerri was one of the most positive, supportive, and strongest people anyone could meet. There was absolutely nothing in this world that she would not do for her children, we are the luckiest kids to have been raised by our amazing mother. She taught us how to be strong willed, look at the bright side, and enjoy the moment.

Kerri is survived by her sons Kevin McCarthy and Kory Huskins; daughter Kelby Huskins; sister Kim McCarthy; Mother, Joanne (McCarthy) Croft; nephew Ryan Nelson; niece Mia McCarthy. Kerri was predeceased by her father William (Wally) McCarthy.

A special thanks goes out to her friends and family that helped her through her fight with cancer by doing anything they could to make her happy and comfortable. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in the gymnasium at the Spryfield lions rink on August 1st, 2020 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
