BANGAY, Irma Pearl
Bangay, Irma Pearl- 98, Shelburne, passed away peacefully in Roseway Manor, Sandy Point, on March 11, 2018. Born in Sable River she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma ( Dauphinee) Ryan. Irma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a seamstress at the Shelburne Youth Centre until her retirement. Irma enjoyed spending time with her family and watching “ The Price is Right” on television. She was also an avid bingo player. In her earlier years she enjoyed hunting and fishing with her late husband, Victor. Irma was a member of the Shelburne Legion and the Lionettes Club. She is survived by son, Victor James ( Ruth); grandson, Christopher and great-granddaughter, Nicola, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor; brothers, Arnold, Charles, Eugene and Robert (in infancy); sisters, Florence, Eldora, Mary and Lucy. No visitation by request. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 15 at 2 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Chapel, Shelburne with Pastor Debi Hill officiating. Burial in Ryan Cemetery, West Sable. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
