A woman is dead, and two other people are in hospital after a single-vehicle accident in Pictou County early Thursday morning.
RCMP says officers were called to an area on Egypt Road in Hillside near Trenton around 1:35 a.m. after a single vehicle left the road and overturned.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while another female and a male were transported to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Police say the crash remains under investigation and a collision analyst was expected to remain at the the scene for several hours.
They say Egypt Road between Pictou Landing Road and Old Glenfalloch Road will remain closed.
