RCMP investigating fatal collision in River Phillip

Cumberland District RCMP are investigating a fatal collision that happened on Friday afternoon. According to a police release, RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 321 in River Phillip shortly after 5:00 p.m..

Cumberland District RCMP are investigating a fatal collision that happened on Friday afternoon.

According to a police release, RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 321 in River Phillip shortly after 5:00 p.m..

A vehicle had left the road and struck a pole, killing the sole occupant, a 48-year-old Springhill man.

The highway was closed for several hours for investigation, but has since reopened.

Mounties continue their investigation.
