Nova Scotia reports one new case of COVID-19; six active cases in province

HALIFAX — Nova Scotia is reporting one new case of COVID-19. That brings the total number of active cases in the province to six. Public health officials say one person is currently in hospital as a result of the novel coronavirus.

That brings the total number of active cases in the province to six.

Public health officials say one person is currently in hospital as a result of the novel coronavirus.

The province has reported 1,078 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began and 64 deaths.

Officials say 1,008 cases are considered resolved.

Authorities say 458 COVID-19 tests were completed at the QEII Health Sciences Centre lab on Aug. 21, the last day for which the data is available.
