The RCMP say that they have arrested four men after a number of arsons in Digby.

The fires were set to abandoned buildings earlier in September, and grass fires in July.

On September 14, the RCMP arrested a 17 year old male youth from Doucetteville, along with a 20 year old male from Plympton Station related to a building fire on Doucetteville Road.

An investigation determined that the 17 year old and another 22 year old male from Plympton intentionally set a fire in Doucetteville on September 1.

Finally, RCMP officers determined a 21 year old from Plympton was responsible for lighting a grass fire in Plympton Station on July 8.

The three adult males will appear in court in December, while the youth is scheduled to appear in Digby Youth Court on September 24.
