Driver arrested after dangerous highway stop

Nova Scotia RCMP have arrested a 33 year old Yarmouth County man after a series of dangerous driving incidents. Mounties were called at 4:18 p.m. on March 8th after a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 3.

Nova Scotia RCMP have arrested a 33 year old Yarmouth County man after a series of dangerous driving incidents.

Mounties were called at 4:18 p.m. on March 8th after a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 3.

A driver informed police a driver passed on a double solid line, nearly forcing several cars off the road.

Police responded and attempted to stop the Red SUV twice.

A short time later, RCMP dispatch advised they had a report of a red SUV off the road near the intersection of Wyman Rd. and Chebogue Rd.

Keith Arthur Siscoe of Yarmouth County was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Impaired Driving, Flight from Police and Resisting Arrest.

Siscoe will be held in custody until a court appearance on Monday.

Mountie says the investigation is ongoing and further charges may be laid.
