Voltigeurs pick up 6-2 win over Mooseheads in game five of semi-final series

DRUMMONDVILLE, QC. - There will be a game six after the Drummondville Voltigeurs defeated the Halifax Mooseheads 6-2 Friday night.

Pavel Koltygin put the Volts up 1-0 late in the opening period. Cedric Desruisseaux followed up to make it 2-0 Drummondville heading into the second.

The Mooseheads bounced back in the second period as Arnaud Durandeau and Max Trepanier scored back-to-back to tie things up at 2-2.

Joe Veleno restored the Voltigeur's lead midway through the third period with Pierre-Olivier Joseph adding another tally to extend Drummondville's lead.

Maxim Comtois and Remy Anglehart iced it for the Volts to force a game six.

Game six takes place on Sunday in Halifax where the Mooseheads still have a chance to advance with a win.
