Remparts defeat Mooseheads 4-3 in OT

HALIFAX - The Quebec Remparts edged out the Halifax Moosehads 4-3 in overtime Saturday night at the Scotiabank Centre.

Keith Getson started things off with his first goal as a Moosehead, while Justin Barron also netted one for the Herd in the first period. Nicolas Savoie and Adam Gaudreau scored for the Remparts to keep things tied up at 2-2 after 20 minutes.

Antoine Morand helped the Herd retake the lead in the second period with a power play goal.

Samuel Dickner tied it up for the Remparts early in the third forcing overtime where Etienne Verrette scored the game winner.

On Tuesday, the Mooseheads make their way to Bathurst to take on the Titan.
