QUEBEC CITY, QC. - The Halifax Mooseheads picked up a 3-1 win over the Quebec Remparts Tuesday night in game three of their opening round playoff series.

Arnaud Durandeau put the Herd up 1-0 late in the first period.

Raphael Lavoie added to Halifax's lead early in the second to make it 2-0 heading into the final period.

Quebec's Luke Kutkevicius cut the Herd's lead in half midway through the third period.

But an empty netter from Lavoie helped ice it for the Mooseheads who skated away with the win in game three.

Game four is set to take place on Thursday.
