Mooseheads pick up 3-1 win over Oceanic

RIMOUSKI, QC. - The Halifax Mooseheads picked up their second win on their Quebec roadtrip, defeating the Rimouski Oceanic 3-1 Tuesday night.

Halifax got off to a strong start with Filip Zadina and Jocktan Chainey netting a pair of goals to give the Herd a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Samuel Dove-McFalls cut Halifax's lead in half with a power play goal in the second period.

Arnaud Durandeau scored his 20th goal of the season on a breakaway midway in the final period to help give the Mooseheads a 3-1 victory.

The Mooseheads are back in the Maritimes on Saturday when they visit the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
