Mooseheads edge out Titan 5-4

BATHURST, N.B. - The Halifax Mooseheads edged out the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 5-4 on Tuesday.

The first period saw Jake Ryczek and Maxim Trepanier score the Herd while the Anderson MacDonald and Mathieu Samson netted a pair for the Titan to make it 2-2 after 20 minutes.

Ryczek and Samuel Asselin found the back of Bathurst's net in the second period while Cole Rafuse scored on a power play making it 4-3 Halifax heading into the third period.

William Champagne tied things up early in the third where Justin Barron scored the game winner for the Herd.

The Mooseheads return home on Thursday when they welcome the Shawinigan Cataractes.
