Mooseheads dominate Acadie-Bathurst in 6-1 thumping

HALIFAX - The Halifax Mooseheads dominated the Acadia-Bathurst Titan on a rare Monday night game, picking up a 6-1 win. The Titan scored early in the first, with Mathieu Desgagnes opening the scoring.

HALIFAX - The Halifax Mooseheads dominated the Acadia-Bathurst Titan on a rare Monday night game, picking up a 6-1 win.
 
The Titan scored early in the first, with Mathieu Desgagnes opening the scoring. 
 
From there, the Mooseheads scored 6 unanswered goals.
 
Samuel Asselin scored midway through the first, with Xavier Parent netting his 13th less than a minute later.
 
Patrick Kyte added another tally with less than a minute left in the first, giving the Mooseheads a 3-1 lead in the first intermission.
 
While it was a scoreless second period, the Mooseheads added three more in the third including two from Arnaud Durandeau, followed by a single goal from Antoine Morand to seal the game. 
 
The Mooseheads are back in action tomorrow night, as they host the Saint John Sea Dogs.
