Mooseheads come back to beat Islanders 2-1

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The Halifax Mooseheads came back to win 2-1 against the Charlottetown Islanders on Sunday afternoon.

Charlottetown drew first blood as Hunter Drew put the Islanders up 1-0 in the opening frame.

Samuel Asselin tied things up for the Herd, scoring his 21st goal of the season during the second period.

Arnaud Durandeau eventually scored on a power play to give the Mooseheads the 2-1 win.

The Mooseheads will be back in action on Wednesday when they welcome the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles to the Scotiabank Centre.
