The Mooseheads fell behind early as Jakob Pelletier scored in the first period.
Midway through the second, Moncton extended their lead with Jeremy McKenna scoring his fifth of the playoffs.
A few minutes later, Patty Kyte scored his first of the playoffs to bring the Herd within one.
