Foreurs hand Mooseheads second straight loss with 3-2 win

VAL-D'OR, QC. - The Val-d'Or Foreurs handed the Halifax Mooseheads their second straight loss on Sunday, topping the Herd 3-2.

Ivan Kozlov put the Foreurs on the board early in the second period with Keith Getson tying things up a short time later to make it 1-1 heading into the third period.

Maxence Guenette gave the Foreurs a 2-1 lead early in the third but Joel Bishop responded less than a minute later to tie things up again.

Jacob Gaucher scored the game winner on a power play to seal the deal.

The Mooseheads continue their Quebec road trip on Tuesday when they take on the Gatineau Olympiques.
