CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I - Filip Zadina scored four times on Tuesday night to help lead the Halifax Mooseheads to a 6-2 win over the Charlottetown Islanders.

After a scoreless first period, Filip Zadina put on a strong showing in the second, scoring twice to give Halifax a 2-0 lead.

Raphael Lavoie added to the Herd's lead at the 16:18 mark of the second to give Halifax a 3-0 lead heading into the final period.

Derek Gentile and Keith Getson snapped a scoreless skid for the Islanders, but it wasn't enough as two more Zadina goals and an empty netter from Jared McIsaac helped give Halifax the 6-2 win.

The Mooseheads are back in action on Thursday when they host the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.
